Goals
To develop a combination of low cost and precise measurement techniques suitable for a multiphase production line of the oil and gas industry (oil, water and gas mixtures).
Motivation
With accessible and precise measuring equipment, the oil & gas industry can maximize control, reduce costs and achieve greater accuracy in measuring oil-gas-water flows.

ECT Tomography; venturi; orifice plates; nozzles; Temperature sensors: thermocouples; Pressure Transducers; Software PIV / PTV; Laser.
Expected results
Accurate in-line measurements of oil, water and air mixtures; Distribution estimates of concentrations; flow pattern recognition; prototypes.
